Trunk-Open Light Issue

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I figure it's worth a shot. I have a 2013 Forenza and the trunk-ajar light in the dashboard has been on for days now. The trunk is not open. I've tried opening and closing numerous times, but the light stays on. This wouldn't be such a big deal, but the light stays on even when the engine is off so my battery is getting drained by it. Is there anything I should do? Is there some kinda quick fix to just get the light to stay off? Any help would be appreciated.
